there is really no way to tell

i hate to say that too ya but you are just going to have to trust her word! can you? this is going to be a problim if you can! trust is a big key to staying in a good healthy relationship! you can examine her hymen but this might make her uncomfortable and if she thinks you dont trust her then you might make her upset! she might be asking herself the same question so if she trust you, you in return need to trust her! by the way you will be able to tell if she is experianced too if you both dont know what to do as virgins then it will be a little dificult the first couple times! i hope this helped you a little bit???and good luck to ya rember trust is vey important!!!

Re

In this day and age, it's very unlikely that a girl is going to bother lying about being a virgin, unless....

a) they really are one

or

b) you make it such a huge issue that she HAS to be a virgin, she feels the need to lie.

She has no way to know if you are a virgin either. All she has to do is trust what you say, so you should trust her as well. The less of a big deal you make over virginity, the less likely you'll be with a women who will lie about it. If she knows you accept her either way (virgin or not a virgin) trust will then build and she won't have the need to lie!!!

And read the hymen thread below this. Basing your judgements on whether she's a virgin or not from a hymen is not proff of anything.

Anyone who would lie about their virginity doesn't deserve to get married. If you tell her that you want to marry a virgin because that's what you believe she needs to tell you the truth or let you find another girl.

Don't post Porn on a virgin site!

That's not a virgin, that's called porn exploitation!! And the girls probably 12 years old!
There is a whole series of virgin porn...this girl is probably about to be f**ked soon on video for a bunch of old men to watch!

It kills me that some people hold some 'holy grail' over virginity but have no problems viewing pornography, which is equal in negative consequences for the viewer as those having casual sex.

Quote "Anyone who would lie about their virginity doesn't deserve to get married"

People don't 'deserve' anything. That's being mean-spirited and hostile toward other people which is worse than dishonesty in my opinion.

(Don't be surprised if you find many women lie around you compared to people who are more accepting, forgiving and non-judgemental. No one likes to be met with a hostile reaction- which will just provoke dishonesty)

That girl is 19 or 20.

I've seen worse posted on here.
I've seen a perso post "her" hymen picture which wasn't hers it was of a girl on that site.

Also, anyone who would lie about anything to their future spouse doesn't deserve to be married that's not being judgemental it's just the facts.

Who would bother lying...a 15 year old???

Why would a women (especially one in her 20's) bother lying about being a virgin?? It's not going to be an issue for the majority of guys, so no women is going to have any rational reason to lie about it UNLESS they 'happen' (this will be rare) be with a guy who makes them feel that non-virgins are somehow inferior or not as good as virgins. Then I can see how the women might be tempted to lie, but then I'd say that is more of the guys fault then the women's. Most women want to feel accepted no matter what their 'status' is since everyone has faults, even virgins. The only difference between a virgin and non-virgin is that a virgin lacks sexual experience...that is the ONLY difference. And MOST guys I've met are actually turned-off by that.

People who are non-accepting of others or who see the world in black and white terms will cause or provoke other people to lie and try and hide part of their personality....because they get the message that they won't be accepted unless they fall into some black and white category. Scribe, you say you don't want women to lie, but if they do, you are bringing it onto yourself!!!! Virginity should be viewed as an 'added' bonus if you happen to find it, but the minute it becomes a matter of life or death, not only is that not healthy, but of course, the women will lie! Just think about it and it makes sense. If people want honesty in a relationship then be accepting and you will get honesty. This is not very hard to figure out!

I can see a 15 year old lying about virginity but most women in their 20's want to be viewed as normal sexual beings and most guys would not care. If anything, an older women might lie about being more experienced than they are. This sounds more plausible.

And Scibe, who cares if the girl is 19, it's still porn and if she is a virgin (which is unlikely) she isn't one now.

also

Any man of value would be able to rise above his primitive instinct of treasuring being a woman's first and not immediately jump to the conclusion that if a woman has slept with even one man before him that it's NOT somehow detrimental to her character.

Any decent woman wouldn't lie about her virginity. I'm bringing nothing on myself.
Anyone who would lie about their virginity just to marry someone they know won't love them is crazy and not looking for true love.

To John24:
Any man that has saved himself as long as I have is a man of value.
Also, to value your wife's virginity isn't primitive.

Any woman of value would be able to resist temptation and respect her future husband enough not to engage in any sexual activity.

Anyone with any moral character will be able to wait until marriage.

Sleeping with only one man isn't detrimintal to her character if that one man is her husband.

I just googled that picture I didn't have time to stay on here to see where it was from I thought it was from a gyno/health site since my safe search was on. So, if it's porn it's googles fault.

Come on now.

The truth is candel. You don't know. And you won't. You'll just have to take her word for it.

Scribe: If you really loved someone and thought they loved you back why let the thought if the're a virgin stand in the way? Are you truley telling me that if you found "Miss Right" and she turned out not to be a virgin you'd just drop her and move on? "Remember be truthful"

Plus every one has lied before, no one is perfect. Everyone falls at some point in time. But really why let something like virginity stand in the way of true happiness.
Now to tell you the truth I want a virgin husband , but if I find "Mr. Right" who I love and who loves me back and he wants to marry me. Then I wont let his not being a virgin stop me, from being happy with the one I truely love.
