I am tired of teenaged girls giving in

Hello,I am fifteen years old,and I am not giving it up outside of commitment-by any means necessary.

I hate the magazines like Glamour and all that talk about how to get a man,500 ways to please a man,all that bullcrap. This society runs on sex and it needs to stop.Sex is a good thing-when it is done the right way.Sex is something intimate between two people, not between three people, between a person and an object, etc.People have taken sex and think that alllllll it is is pleasure.Girls get dressed in these slutty outfits to attract attention-hello-that is not the kind of attention you need.

I am tired of women giving in,especially when they are young, because they are not emotionally prepared and neither are the guys they sleep with.Women connect pleasure with emotions. If you make them feel good, they think you care-that is not the case with these men.

I believe that if you approach a man, tell him how you feel about sex,you get respect and you don't have to give it up.I have had two boyfriends so far who respected me and did not ask for sex. They did not cheat either.

Not only that, but when girls get older, after having sex with so many guys, when a MAN wants to get married, they do not marry SLUTS.And sorry, but a slut is a girl who has had sex alot and you might say that is a double standard because men are not considered sluts, but that is because we all know good and well that men have a more difficult controlling sexual desires. So it should be in the hands of a woman to control her sexual desires,so that she can be desired for her mind and personality, not for her body.

Women think they have come so far with birth control and condoms and abortions-WRONG!Now men can use you for your body and not worry so much about having to care for a kid.Oh,and STDS.Remember that Glamour magazine I hate? How about they had an article on how to tell your partner you have an STD and that it's okay because everyone has had an STD nowadays.WHAT.Are freaking kidding me?It's okay to being transmitting diseases all of a sudden?I'm sorry, but I'd get pissed when someone gives me a cold, let alone an STD!

I encourage young girls to wait until they are emotionally mature, and until they are in a committed relationship! Please,it is for your own good.

way to go

I'm 17, male, and am waiting. I know what you mean exactly, I hate how it's nearly impossible to find a girl who shares the same beliefs as I do. but it's not just women obviously, men are just as bad.

It's stupid how my friends question me about it and say, "well what happens then if you find a girl you really like and shes not a virgin?", and I reply that I would only date a girl that shares similar beliefs as me, and that would include abstinence, so theres no problem at all.

but yeah, I walked through the magazine section of walmart and the entire thing was pretty much for girls and glamour type mags. we live in a world dominated by MTV morality. watch that show for five minutes and your less of a person than before pretty much.

when i have kids, they will never see t.v., I would rather have them grow up in a rural village in China than America... actually thats my plan lol.

no objections...

i totally agree with you guys... i believe that you should wait till you're married or at least you're engaged... living in a liberated country doesn't affect my beliefs and it should stay like that...

I agree somewhat...

Breakingthe Trend,

I agree that girls should not sell their body short and be flaunting it around just because the media advertises it. I used to think the same way you do when I was younger. I am now 18 and i have a different perspective on it. I dont necessarily think that a girl is a slut if she has sex alot.

My experiances have much shaped my views on the subject and it offends me that some one would have such close minded views. I can understand a girl being called a slut if she gets around and has sex with everything that moves. but what about the girl in the committed relaitonship who is merely practicing a healthy sex life?

Are there any exceptions to your reasoning? magazines like Glamour are not targeted or meant for young teens. They are written with young adults (people in thier late teens and early 20s) in mind.

Why does sex have to be souch a shamefull thing? Its something marvelous under the right cercumstances. Shouldnt that be acknowledged also?

yes

Sex should not be looked down upon but...one should do it when the time is right not just because. I am 17 and I dont like how every teenager I know is having sex and even getting pregnant at ages as young as 13!!! It makes me look like a prude but not really because Id rather look like a prude for not giving in to such urges than to be a whore and have sex with every guy and their dad comming 10 ft in paths way! If you regretted it the first time STOP having sex there is a reason why you regretted! I believe in prematial sex to a certain extent, you have to be old enough and know the consequences, but also if you feel your ready at age 16 then by all means go ahead but soon enough youll find out that it wasnt the right decsion to make...only leaving to turmoil and regret. Its a choice we all make we shouldnt judge but its soo hard not to.

Im tired of teenagers giving in.

I belive Teens should wait, most people aren't mature enough to handle the concequences of their actions.

True guys have stronger sexual feelings and a girl should keep herself, but I think guys should be resposeble for their-selfs and thier actions. Because if they don't keep themselfs in check and they get a girl pregnant they have to pay child support.

Yeah. It's true, men get their sexual intimacy from seeing bare flesh, it's a lot harder for guys to control themselves, especially if their living in oh, say, America, where almost every girl wears skimpy clothes.

To add to your point, a slut is also someone who dresses like a slut, or who dresses in a sexually inviting way. I guess that would add almost a hundred million people in America alone, but, that's reality.

I'd say that's only valid if they're surrounded by women and girls who don't dress like skanks, because then they won't be aroused all the time.

Child support only exists because of the fact of birth control pills and condoms and sex before marriage. If it was done the old fashioned way, child support wouldn't exist.
