How to ask?

Ok, I'm gonna ask this guy I like to homecoming. Its kinda hard though, because since we are pretty good friends I want to bring it up in a casual way. How can I do that? Like should I do it on the phone? Cause we probably wont get to hang out alone this weekend and if Im gonna ask I gotta ask soon. And should I come outright and just say "So, I was wondering if you wanted to go with me to homecoming?" or should I be more like casual like just bring up the subject of homecoming and then say "oh yeah, are you going to homecoming?" and when he says no I suggest we go together. I just don't want him to feel awkward or anything.

The casual way is probably a better approach. It should be relatively easy to ask him since you are already friends. Don't be afraid of making him feel awkward. Friends go to dances together all the time.

Do you want to ask another man to the prom?

Sorry if I didn't get it, but do you want to ask another man to the prom, or a young woman? If another man (man-boy), do you know if he is homosexual like you? I would take great care when approaching another male about going to the prom with you if you are also male. Have you ever discussed your homosexuality with him. Not being sure could cost you a broken nose, buddy.

Not that I care one way or the other. I was only thinking how embarrassing it would be for him if he didn't suspect and you then asked him to the prom. Whoa, that would be the worst for him. If his other friends found out he was asked to the prom by a homosexual but he wasn't homosexual himself, nor were his friends. That's bad high school karma.

Then again, you wouldn't have to hold hands, just talk and make flirty eyes with each other...I don't know how that kind of stuff goes. Obviously I am not a homosexual, so I wouldn't have a clue. But good luck, just the same.
