I was just reading all this and thought that most likely any young girl writing to an old man in his 40s and 50s should be more or less a scammer. Either a professional one who just needs some get some money or just a stupid one who wants to marry you and get a visa.

I think that really 99% of those girls who you find model-looking are most likely to be scammers.
To avoid it, just start writing to someone of your age and not that fancy looking, No scammer will use a photo of a 40 year old woman.

But in case, you really want a young attractive girl, which is pretty disgusting to my mind if you are like a 40-50 y.o., just be prepared to be scammed, and I would say you most likely deserve it.

Scammed? Disgusting?

According to CIA statistics, there are 16.7 million women and 15.4 million men in Ukraine between the ages 16-64. That's 1.3 million women without partners or 8% of the women population. Actually, I think that the number of women are overstated here. I have been to Kiev, Yalta, Simferopol and Zaporozhye. Walking in the streets, I see that from my own sampling, the ratio of women to men are about three to one.

Russian Woman, I don't dispute that there are lots of scammers in FSU countries. Don't you believe also that there are genuine women who wants a real husband? Assuming they would rather have another FSU man rather than a foreign man, there are just not enough of them.

I am 52 and divorced. There is still a lot of life and productivity in me. I want to have a family and kids. I keep in shape and the people in Ukraine is surprised that I look about 40. I was looking to marry one here, in California, a woman with kids when I stumbled on the internet all of these gorgeous women.

Russian woman, what does an FSU woman do in her 30's, have children and single or divorced and living in Ukraine? Do you believe that she can find a husband or is out to scam a man? Perhaps. I have been to Ukraine and found a 34 year old woman with a 12 year old girl. I promised to go back and get her, and bring her back to California. God willing, I will do just that. Am I really disgusting?
